Its come out now that kids are killing themselves because of bullying and the families are getting given compensation for it. What about those of us who were bullied and were given nothing?
I'm one of those people. I've lived through 9 years of bullying, major stuff like beatings in primary school and more in the beginnings of secondary college/high school.
I even have several scars.
I'm reserved, quick to mis-trust people, obscenely self-conscious, I can't do PE at all, I will never become a publc speaker and I'm an emotional wreck but I can't show my real emotions or else I'm a target. Again.
Heh. Beatings, name-calling, chasing, insults, theft and thats only a few of the sh!t I had to put up with so where is my compensation? Well?
I'm not saying I feel like I'm left out. No. I don't care for money. I want those 9 years back and I want my trust of the world back. I wanna be able to say this is me and be proud of it. Not hide in the back corner and be too afraid to do anything.
I wanna be able to show I'm able to play sports.
I wanna be able to trust those I love. I wanna be able to trust my friends.
I guess not.

I'm not complaining about not getting money, I'm complaining that their so late to do anything and those who are affected are affected for life.
